Monsignor Robert T. Ritchie, Rector of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, will celebrate the 10:15am Mass this Sunday, October 14, 2018 in commemoration of the six new saints to be declared by Pope Francis at the Canonization Mass, this Sunday, in Rome.
Blessed Pope Paul VI, the first pope to have visited Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in 1965, is among the six Blesseds to be canonized this Sunday by the Pope. Among them is also Archbishop Oscar Romero, who was martyred in El Salvador, in 1980.
