Reconciliation
When he celebrates the sacrament of Reconciliation, or Penance, the priest is fulfilling the ministry of the Good Shepherd who seeks the lost sheep and of the Father who welcomes home the prodigal son on his return. The priest is the sign and the instrument of God's merciful love for the sinner. At St. Patrick’s Cathedral, we celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation throughout the week, Monday through Saturday. Weekdays: After morning Mass and from Noon to 1:20 PM Saturdays: Noon to 12:45 PM and 3:30 to 5:30 PM Reconciliation is available in languages other than English. Please include a mailing address in your correspondence to receive the certificate by mail. |
